Today I broke fast with this plant based (vegan) dish. 330 PM was the time within the last 24 hours in which this 18 hour fast was broken. That is everyday. . . 16 to 18 hours…depending how late in the evening I decide to indulge. That is Intermittent Fasting. I have practiced this method for over five years, on and off, but mostly on. It works for me. I love it. That, on top of a plant based diet for almost three years…💥…I feel real good.

Anyway, the dish had been created by slow heating fresh ginger root, turmeric root, cilantro, white onion, parsley, and ground white pepper with grape seed oil, in a pan, on the stove. After the previously mentioned ingredients simmer down, and create flavor amazingness, I then add a full brick of broken up tempeh. I let that cook until I see golden/brown colors. Then I added shredded carrot, zucchini, and red cabbage. Finally, I threw a huge handful of baby kale on top of the dishes ingredients, lightly steaming the greens just enough. …I think that is that. OH! I sprinkled black sesame seeds as a contrasting touch for my image.
